6th G8 meeting. G8 Justice and Home Affairs Ministers’ Meeting and Profits Group

Profits Group provided for simultaneous and consecutive service into English, French, German, Russian and Japanese as well as tecnichal equipment on the occasion of the G8 Justice and Home Affairs Ministers' Meeting, hosted in Rome and chaired by Justice Minister Angelino Alfano and by Interior Minister Roberto Maroni, from 28 to 30 May. The meeting was attended by the sixteen G8 ministers and by their guests, namely European Commissioner Jacques Barrot, Interpol Secretary General Ronald Noble, UNODC (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime) Executive Director Antonio Maria Costa and UNICRI (United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute) Director Sandro Calvani, as well as by the interior and justice ministers of the Czech Republic, which currently holds the European Union duty presidency. The meeting ended with an agreement for a world collaboration thanks to a final declaration divided into six big chapters: COUNTERTERRORISM, TRANSNATIONAL ORGANIZED CRIME, CHILD PORNOGRAPHY, CYBERCRIME AND CYBERSECURITY, HUMAN TRAFFICKING, ILLEGAL MIGRATION, INTEGRATION OF LEGAL MIGRANTS, URBAN SECURITY.
