Profits Group, in collaboration with Gruppo Meet, provided the interpreting and technical services on the occasion of the “World Energy Outlook 2008: Impact of the Financial Crisis on the Energy Sector” held in Rome on March 19th 2009 in Rome. According to the results coming from the Report issued by the International Energy Agency - World Energy Outlook 2008 – the meeting has represented a kind of debate on the present financial situation coupled with the issues to be faced by the energy sector. The World Energy Outlook 2008 reinforced the notion that the future wellbeing of mankind depends upon our ability to face the two major Energy challenges of this century: guaranteeing reliable energy supplies at accessible costs, employing low carbon technologies to considerably reduce the emissions of greenhouse gases.
