Profits Group will be providing the interpreting service from and into Italian, English, French, German, Russian and Japanese as well as the technical services on the occasion of the forthcoming G8 Justice and Home Affairs Ministers’ Meeting to be held in Rome on May 28th-30th 2009.

Profits Group has managed the interpreting service on the occasion of the “G8 Environment” held in Siracusa from April 22nd/ 24th with the G8+ mechanism. The major topics on top of the agenda of the Ministers of the Environment were countering climate changes and the protection of biodiversity. With the Carta di Siracusa (24 actions and 5 proposals) signed “G8 Environment”, the G8 ministers together with the Ministers of Australia, Brasil, China, Czeck Republic, Egypt , India, Indonesia, Mexico, Republic of Korea, South Africa, Sweden as well as the International organisations decided to protect biodiversity focusing on climate, economy, ecosystems, science and research. The meeting held in Siracusa aimed at conveying an outstanding political message on biodiversity and easing the dialogue regarding climate changes in view of the Conference of Copenhagen, in December, which will have to define the global strategy for the post-Kyoto era.

Profits Group will be managing the Organisational Secretariat of the European Marine Sand and Gravel Group, organised by Ciria, May 7/8 2009

On the 9th April 2009, Profits Group is proud to provide a consecutive translating service in Spanish, during the Second National Debate on Road Safety, which has been organized by the Ministry of Infrastructure & Transport in collaboration with the European Transport Safety Council.

Profits Group, in collaboration with Gruppo Meet, provided the interpreting and technical services on the occasion of the conference “World Energy Outlook 2008: Impact of the Financial Crisis on the Energy Sector”, which was held in Rome - 19th March 2009
