Interpreting services include the following:

  • Simultaneous interpreting

Simultaneous interpreting is done in sound-proof booths equipped with headphones and microphones. There are at least two persons in each booth.

  • Consecutive interpreting

In consecutive interpreting, the interpreter sits beside the speaker. The interpreter listens to an entire passage and translates it faithfully into the required language.

  • Whispering/prompting

Prompting is a simultaneous translation whispered into the listener’s ear, carried out by the interpreter without the aid of technical support or facilities. It is also known by the French term chuchotage.

  • Liaison interpreting

Liaison interpreting provides informal understanding among small groups of people; it does not call for simultaneous or consecutive interpreting techniques.

  • Three way phone calls

Telephone Interpreting, or the “conference call service”, is a service that is generally aimed at SMEs. If you want to solve a technical problem or close a deal with clients or suppliers abroad: Profits Group can help you! Our interpreters are available to solve your problems in real time at costs which are much lower than for other sorts of interpreting.

  • “Tailor-made” linguistic consulting

Translation, transcription, and interpreting at the client’s office or in another location. Over-the-phone interpreting, training courses, meetings at notary or law offices, trade show support, and escorting for visitors and delegations.
