• Simultaneous Interpreting
Simultaneous interpreting is done in sound-proof booths equipped
with headphones and microphones. There are at least two interpreters
in each booth.
• Consecutive Interpreting
In consecutive interpreting the interpreter seats near the speaker,
listens to an entire passage and then translates it faithfully into
the required language. No technical equipment is required.
• Whispering/Prompting
Prompting is a simultaneous translation which is whispered into the
listener's ear, and is carried out by the interpreter without need
for technical support or facilities. It is also known by the French
term 'chuchotage'.
• Liaison Interpreting
Liaison interpreting ensures an informal understanding among small
groups of people; it does not call for simultaneous or consecutive
interpreting techniques.
• “Tailor-made” Linguistic Consulting
Translation, transcription and interpreting at the client’s office
or in another location. Over-the-phone interpreting, training
courses, meetings with a notary or lawyers, trade show support,
escort services for visitors and delegations. Multi-lingual services
(translation between two foreign languages).
